The NRI Performance & Quality Improvement in Review: A Snapshot of CY 2024

This report summarizes CY 2024 results for key performance metrics. It covers rates from 171 facilities in the NRI Behavioral Healthcare Performance Measurement System (BHPMS). Metrics include CMS Inpatient Psychiatric Facility Quality Reporting (IPFQR) program’s core global population measures and NRI-defined non-core measures (hours of seclusion and restraint use).
The BHPMS provides quality solutions to nearly 200 inpatient psychiatric facilities including data reporting to meet requirements from the CMS IPFQR program and from The Joint Commission ORYX initiative.
