This report focuses on State behavioral health initiatives to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the behavioral health workforce.
76% of responding states conduct needs assessments to guide skills and effectiveness requirements and training and 62% of states report using community demographic data to guide recruitment of a behavioral health workforce that is representative of the local communities they serve.
