Psychiatric Emergency Response Teams (PERT) Training

Greg Smith and Andy Prisco will be presenting a two-part series on the history, programming overview, outcome data and training associated with Psychiatric Emergency Response Teams (PERT) to staff from psychiatric inpatient facilities that participate in the Behavioral Healthcare Performance Measurement System (BHPMS), a surveillance system of quality-of-care measures. The BHPMS was founded by the NASMHPD Research Institute (NRI) and assists psychiatric inpatient facilities in meeting performance measures requirements from accrediting and regulatory entities.
