Thursday, August 10, 2023
As states implement crisis services, the use of technology to coordinate services, share information between call centers, mobile crisis, and crisis receiving and stabilization facilities, and other behavioral health services has become an important tool to assure quality care and identify gaps in crisis service continuum. This report addresses the use of data dashboards and visualizations to monitor crisis services, the software being used by crisis systems, and the outcomes that states are starting to track at different levels of their crisis continuum.
In addition to this Profiles report on Behavioral Health Crisis Services: Technology and Metrics 2022, other new and updated Profiles reports on Crisis Services on the NRI website focus on specific aspects of the crisis services continuum.
